Iris Foundation Bush Dance

The Wyong Milk Factory played host to the Iris Foundation's annual Bush Dance on Saturday 31st May.  Over 100 local community members helped raise $7,500 for the foundation.  The foundation is part of the Central Coast Community Chest and has been set up for the prevention of suicide, primarily focused on young people and their families on the Central Coast.

Meet Warnie, our prawn character who is an inspiration for conservation, the environment and a reminder of the days when the lakes were teeming with fresh prawns.  Warnie is named after local larrikin Albert Warner, the original settler of Warnervale and also an environmentalist of his time.
